I'm not sure that is right. I think the EPA fish oil is only Omega 3. Omega 6 and 9 are starflower oil and Flaxseed oil (not sure which is which though).

To be honest I don't think the 3,6,9 oil is the one to have. I thought the problem was that we generally have a deficiency in Omega 3. Our diets generally have enough of 6 and 9.

Below is a quote from http://www.prostate-massage-and-health. ... ga369.html (about half way down).

"When it comes to the Omega fats, Omega 3 6 9, the one that is always out of balance (deficient) is Omega 3.

Omega 6 and 9 are usually adaquate in most diets. And, sometimes overabundant. Supplementing with Omega 6 and Omega 9 is unnecessary and can be harmful (by making the balance even worse!)."

just been and checked and read a few articles that back up what derren has said also in regards to 6,9

EPA is just 3 which is the one our bodies lack.

Could I bang down 10 caps of the 1000mg H + B fish oil in one go (with breakfast) or would it be more beneficail to split the doses in 2 - 3 serving over the course of the day?

Im only asking bacause it would be easier to do it all at once, but is it better for you/better effects if you split the dosage?

Just been reading through this thread. I use kirkland signature cod liver oil. 1045mg fish oil, 420 mg omega 3, and it states the combined EPA DHA is 360 mg. It seems I am making close to the minimum DHA but should I be taking more than one cap a day?
